Staffing and Group Size

All staff members are seasoned professionals, selected and trained by Edward Spaulding. Groups travel with a minimum of two instructors.  Group size is limited to no more than ten individuals at a time, due to many state regulations in the use of wilderness areas.

While cell phone contact is unavailable in many wilderness areas, our staff make it a priority to check in with our base office regularly.

Participants are encouraged to write letters during overnight trips and to share with their friends and family the amazing experience of which they are currently a part.
