Our Services

Educational consultation services help parents, professionals, and schools work together to access and implement quality education for students of all ages and abilities. Each student's situation is carefully reviewed and evaluated through observation, consultation with other professionals, and academic and psychological testing. Recommendations, staff training, and student tutoring services are then offered based upon the perceived needs of the student.

Adventure Education ingrates kinesthetic, affective, and cognitive-based learning using experiential methods. Adventure Education experts operate under the philosophy that youth and adults learn best through experience. Our programs foster these experiences to maximize learning and growth in a unique and fun way.  

Tutoring is offered for elementary through college level students, including thesis/dissertation coaching and reading/literacy evaluation and instruction. 

Research will be conducted to be published in industry-related, peer-reviewed journals. The research program will be contracted with either a third-party vendor or in partnership with colleges and universities. Additionally, we may support the research of other organizations and programs by providing relevant industry data or participation at its discretion, and where deemed appropriate. 

We work with individuals and organizations providing emotional support animal evaluations and consultations to improve behavioral and institutional compliance for the benefit of animals, owners, and organizations. The evaluation and consultation includes information about ADA and housing compliance and regulations. 

We offer life coaching in the form of consultation. Life coaches work with individuals to provide help in all areas, such as business, school, and personal life. The life coach/mentor then assists individuals in implementing solutions to their problems; integrating the changes, new skills, and goals to ensure their success. This is not a substitute for therapy and individuals with serious mental health conditions will be referred to a licensed therapist. 

We offer out-patient individual psychotherapy to the public. This service is conducted by professionals licensed by the state or under supervision by a licensed individual. 

We offer out-patient group psychotherapy to the public. This service is conducted by professionals licensed by the state or under supervision by a licensed individual.

Out-patient Substance Treatment seeks to help client reduce or abstain use of substances through various treatment therapies and techniques.

Family therapy focuses on the continued development of nurturing relationships and interactions between family members. Our unique family practice can even include dogs, but we ask that other pets remain at home for their safety and that dogs be leashed during therapy sessions. 

Animal-assisted therapy is offered as an alternative or complementary modality that can include traditional orientations for the treatment of mental health conditions. Research has shown that animal-assisted interventions can have a positive impact on clients in social, emotional, and cognitive functioning. We offer canine-assisted and caprine-assisted therapies.

Nature-based therapy is a modality that is used as an alternative and complementary therapeutic intervention that makes use of the natural environment to improve mental and physical well-being for clients. 

Horticulture Therapy is a type of nature-based therapy that uses gardening intervention to promote mental and physical well-being.

Play therapy works with nature to provide a nurturing environment for both children and young adults to engage with therapists and can include canine or caprine-assisted techniques.
